I first read Pride and Prejudice when I was 11, and I’ve been a Jane Austen junkie ever since.

A few years ago, I had the realization that if Jane Austen and Aristotle had been born in the same century, they would have fallen in love. Jane Austen’s novels are actually textbooks on the art of argument or rhetoric. On October 18th, 2013, I gave a 5 minute presentation titled “Pride and Prejudice: Jane Austen and the Art of Argument” at Ignite Phoenix, to a crowd of over 800 people. Here’s the video:
